Day 3 2nd July 2013 Sandfire Roadhouse to Pardoo Roadhouse 139km
Wow what an experience today. Pure exhilaration. Perfect weather and tailwind all day. God blessed us all today. Arrived at Pardoo Roadhouse (which is a service station in the middle of no-where with a pleasant camping ground) rather early. Everyone is in high after a much easier ride today.
Sitting waiting for dinner now. Those who pre-ordered lamb for dinner have to wait till 6.20pm. Getting rather hungry and wishing I had ordered chicken (those folk are eating now).
Camping again tonight. The tent can almost put it's self up now. Then enjoyed a coffee made by one of those clever little coffee machine that one of the riders brought along. 50c a cup. Better than the roadhouse at $8.
Averaged 33.5 Km/hr over the 139km distance. Some of the time doing 42km/hr. There is something magical about the sound of 15 bike in close formation hammering along at that speed.
